Where are the tools manufactured?
Mr. Stone diamond tools are manufactured in South Korea.
What is the lifespan of a diamond blade?
This can depend on how you handle the equipment. Proper usage will extend the blade's life. But the main factor in a blade's lifespan is the hardness of the stone that is cut. When cutting a softer stone like marble the blade lasts much longer than when cutting hard granite.
Can I use a granite blade on concrete?
Yes, it will cut concrete and any other stone but the lifespan decreases.
What is the difference in usage between dry and wet blades?
Dry blades require less time to set up and do not require water to be constantly applied during the process therefore they are ideal for on-site cutting. Wet blades are often used for factory cutting and generally last longer.
What is the advantage in using a curved blade opposed to straight blade in creating a sink cutout?
With a curved blade, you create a consistent cut of a curve and there is less material to be removed afterwards from the cut area.
Can I use a wet blade without water?
Yes but it will shorten the lifespan of the blade and burn off diamonds in the middle making it unusable. This happens because of a different consistency of metal binding and diamonds between the wet and dry types of blades.
What is the lifespan of epoxy?
Mr. Stone epoxy has a one year shelf life.
How long will it take to ship?
This depends on the method of shipment you choose and your location. Stocked items usually ship same day if ordered before 2pm EST.
